Why Read ? Does it really Matter?

Early Years

Most of the development happens in the early years. The first three years are said to be extremely important for the language development.


Books is a very good tool to help not only language development but also Cognitive, Sensory, Physical, Aural, Visual.


It also helps develop the love for books in children when they are introduced at the early ages. Reading aloud to them everyday, using voice modulation helps.



Children, middle graders and young adults


Reading helps abundantly in developing knowledge and Increased interests in the vast range of topics. It is a lifelong benefit that becomes a part of a child's individuality. They may start with reading a single genre but generally try out different genres and develop varying interests and opinions on almost everything.


Since the love for books was already developed, the academic books and reading do not seem to be a burden to them.


All Age groups-


Reading helps hold up conversations with peers, society. Reading makes them more articulate. People who are articulate perform better in the workplace because they can speak confidently to their superiors. Because those with a large vocabulary and volumes of general knowledge stored in their brains can hold conversations with people from all walks of life, sharing the latest facts and figures in literature, scientific breakthroughs, and global events.


Reading is Meditation. It is a Stress Buster

It is a life skill that everyone must possess, irrespective of the age.
